About Panto

Panto is a real-time European train tracking app built by a single developer who got tired of finding out about delays from the platform screen instead of before leaving home.

Most rail operators publish some form of live data. Almost none of them turn it into something a passenger can actually use across a whole journey, especially one that crosses borders. Panto connects to dozens of these sources directly and merges them into a single map, passport, and set of alerts.

Why it exists

European rail is fragmented by design: every country has its own operators, apps, and data formats. Panto's job is to hide that complexity and just tell you where your train is.
